Not only does the NHWA provide member company's access to the only Industry Specific Liability Insurance policy available in North America but also ensures that you are dealing with a reliable, reputable and honest company.
The NHWA performs an Annual vetting process for accredited companies looking for:

- Consumer complaints
- Truthful website content
In addition, all corporate officers undergo an annual criminal background check and pledge to adhere to the NHWA mission statement and code of ethics.

Certified Home Watch Professional - Setting the "GOLD STANDARD" for the Home Watch Industry!
The NHWA created the Certified Home Watch Professional program to designate those individuals, working for accredited firms to obtain a professional designation based on their knowledge of the best practices in the Home Watch industry. The NHWA Advisory Board, in conjuction with input from leading Home Watch companies in the United States and Canada, created the program based on the Best Practices and Standard Industry Terms.
